Principal Dancer, Visionary Artist, and Philanthropist

Jonathan Batista received his training at some of the world’s most prestigious ballet institutions, including the English National Ballet School and The Royal Ballet School in London, UK.

His illustrious career features performances with internationally renowned companies such as English National Ballet, Miami City Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, Boston Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Oklahoma City Ballet.

In 2021, Jonathan joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as a Soloist and achieved a historic promotion to Principal Dancer in 2022, becoming the first Black Principal Dancer in the company’s 54-year history.
